The Job:

As the department leader of a lean Strategic Planning team, you will manage and mentor a Junior Strategic Planner
You will work very closely with the analysts/marketing researchers (mainly external)who provides you the research, analytics and insights support, and teams of talented Creatives, Studio Production, Account Servicing specialists, Media Planners, etc.
Establish holistic strategic planning approach including the creation of best planning resource practice, implementation of creative marketing elements and introduction of fresh, innovative ideas and technologies
Based upon research data, develop full-cycle planning from consumer insights, to marketing strategy and data analytics, while carrying out proper tracking, research and pre-launch testing
Ensure all strategies developed are creative yet practical, will work on multiple media platforms and are easy for all involved parties, including clients and clients’ targeted audience to understand
Periodically review strategies’ efficiency, effectiveness and come up with necessary changes or enhancements or adjustments


Are you right?

A Degree in an statistic or related analytical subjects. Or, a degree in advertising, marketing, etc.
At least 4-5 years relevant working experience (could be from a combination of market research and strategic planning), of which the latest years are preferably be specialized in strategic planning ideally from an international advertising agency environment.
Manager level candidates straight from international market research/intelligence/insights agencies, highly proficient in managing both qualitative & quantitative projects, who have excellent presentation skills, are very welcomed
Good knowledge in various scopes of advertising/marketing tools or methodologies. Good understanding of various media platforms, creative technologies, data analytics methodologies and tools.
Excellent Chinese (Cantonese essential) and English written and oral communication skills is a must
The ability to help identify business development opportunities.
