Growth Hacking Video Producer/Creative Director

WHO

A all-rounded international business consultancy specializing in the acquisition/buying, building and development of smaller, emerging brands (mostly luxury) to turn them into profit-making businesses. We're basically talking about Growth Hacking. Instead of focusing on just 1 or 2 areas like many other consultancies, they cover most of everything, including:

Manufacturing (help brand source for specialist manufacturers/factories all over the world)

At the moment, the consultancy has a portfolio of 6 core brands, and 22 other that are in the seed investment stage. These brands comes from a wide range of product categories, including: French leather goods brand, Handcrafted rustic furniture brand, High-end Japanese steel knives brand, etc.

WHAT

In essence, they are looking for an all-rounded Video Producer/Director, who can come up with endless creative concepts; execute/shoot the video, and oversee the editing process (with an Assistant provided, or an Assistant of your choice of course). You will work with a team of eCommerce Analysts, SEO Analysts, Content Strategist and a Growth Hacker, and you will focus on producing very short on-brand, and/or creative commercial videos that are about 9 to 15 seconds short, to be published mainly on social media platforms like Facebook and/or the eCommerce site of dedicated brands to help with push for exponential growth. Having said that, the commercial/business sense and the familiarity in eCommerce and Social Media is essential. Would be perfect if you have worked in a startup environment.

The role will be a face-paced one, with an expectation of 2-4 videos being produced on a weekly basis, and the target audience will mainly be the US market at the moment.

**Given the importance of the role, there is no cap on the salary bracket, and the role comes with 20 days annual leaves.



WHERE

The company is Headquartered in Hong Kong with staffs from 8 different nationalities, and they have two nicely fit-out and spacious offices in the same building in Lai Chi Kok, just 2 mins away from the MTR station.



WHY

The brands are spending lots of money on social media marketing/advertising at the moment. However, without engaging Videos Contents, the engagement of their social media marketing campaign is not promising enough, hence it is very crucial for them to hire a super talented video Director/Producer to push engagement up to an optimal level, to ultimately push sales and growth



HOW

The interview process will begin with meeting the HRs (Talent Acquisition), then if they like you they will ask you to go back and produce a video, like a test. Good thing is, they WILL PAY you the freelance rate for the production of that video, so you will actually get paid for making a video which is meant to be the homework of an interview
