Digital Sales Director

Start-up digital publisher specialising in video content in the experience and lifestyle space is looking for a Sales Director to own and lead sales strategy to accelerate the growth of the business.

Working closely with their creative and productions arms, you will create and pitch end-to-end digital solutions to both agencies and brands direct. You will be highly skilled in developing and solidifying new and existing business partnerships and will be confident in your ability to meet and exceed sales KPIs with a proven track record.

This is a great opportunity for a well-networked, entrepreneurial, and independent sales professional who wants to take total ownership and build up the business eventually with a small team below.

• Running a full sales cycle with Tier 1 agencies and direct lifestyle brand clients, from market mapping and prospecting to presentations, pitching, closing and account management.
• Responding to agency briefs with tailored proposals and presentations; increasing revenue spend through expansion of campaigns and the introduction of new products and solutions.
• New business development and networking events to increase the awareness of the brand in market.
• Liaising with the publisher and editorial teams to ensure successful campaign development and delivery.
• Maintain strong market insights for proactive responses, and conduct research to source potential advertiser leads.
• Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets.

• 4-7 years media sales experience, preferably coming from a digital publisher background, and strong current agency and brand contacts in the lifestyle space.
• Understanding of the local digital, native, and video content ad landscape is a big plus.
• Passion for the entertainment and lifestyle sector.
• Excellent relationship building skills and a natural knack for networking and strategic sales.
• Ability to work autonomously within a small team and draw on the strengths of the company.
• Good organisational and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to different client objectives quickly.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, hungry, driven, and business-minded.
