General Manager / Client Services DirectorGlobal experiential agency is needing a natural leader from an Account/Client service background to lead their business by example, not by authority.
This agency has a global presence and already work with big brands but want someone who can grow business with those current clients as well as lead their new business activity.
You will need to be well connected in Melbourne, come from a client service background in either experiential (preferred) or creative agencies and have a strong interest in the experiential space.
You could be a current GM but you have to be hands on with your clients. This isn’t a sit in an office and manage operations and spreadsheets role. Your first 30 days would be getting to know your current clients and looking for opportunities with new clients.
The business runs smoothly already and you have support from the MD. But the role will grow with you, as you grow the revenue of the business. You will have responsibilities on P&L, performance reviews etc but they are secondary responsibilities to client relationships. If you’re not strong or experience in this area, you will receive great mentorship and an opportunity to learn in a supportive environment.
Where you’ve worked will be important but your energy, drive and charisma will be as influential in deciding who gets the role.
