Events ManagerOur client is an international property, entertainment and tourism group that is quickly growing in the Australian market and establishing themselves as a leader in innovative luxury tourism.
An important part of this role is the bilingual aspect, the right candidate will identify themselves as bilingual in Chinese and English, you will need to read and write in Chinese as well as communicate with Chinese speaking stake holders.
We are looking for a hard working and dedicated Entertainment Events Manager to help with a number of events throughout the year, including concerts, cultural events, exhibitions, conferences, etc. There is a focus on entertainment and music based functions in this role, dealing with international musical acts. The role will have a smaller part dedicated to conferences and corporate events.
The right candidate will have experience working with a large number of stake holders and proven experience in managing a large number of people to achieve a common outcome. Experience with events proposal is also necessary as you will be working across all elements of the events. The proposals will include a detailed account of timelines, venues, suppliers, budget, proposed entertainment. You will be responsible for events assessment and you will collaborate with other teams on events promotion as well.
The health and safety along with legal obligations for the events will also be managed by you, you will need to have an all rounded knowledge of the implications involving these issues on large scale events.
