As Digital Manager you’ll provide strategic guidance and digital thought leadership within the digital media group to deliver the most effective and innovative digital communications plans, supporting the Digital Director and Head of Media in developing and operating digital products and services across the agency, integrating and managing key specialist unit relationships (creative, social, content, search, programmatic), in addition to client-facing and managing junior reports.
Strategy and digital planning and buying campaign supervision, especially on performance and search.
¥ Act as a key Client contact for digital business and strategy development issues
¥ Advise on all communications matters that fall within scope of agency assignment
¥ Oversee and approve digital communications strategy for client businesses
¥ Ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client’s marketing/advertising objectives and strategies
¥ Assume supporting role in integration of Client’s digital efforts
¥ Present innovative, business building media recommendations
¥ Oversee media financial management profitability of all Client accounts
Management & Leadership
¥ Develop and nurture ongoing partnerships with key Clients, especially at the senior level
¥ Support training of digital staff and recommend actions to manage individual career paths
¥ Actively promote the businesses ambition and values to all media partners by establishing strong relationships with key media owners
¥ Demonstrate a desire to create improvement and better outcomes through innovation / approaching things in new ways
¥ 3-5 years of related digital media strategy and planning experience coming from an agency background
¥ Possess superior project and account management skills, flexibility, resiliency, and the ability to manage multiple expectations through proactive communication, status reporting and scope management
¥ Highly skilled at developing and driving media and account strategy
¥ Demonstrate proven success leading and growing client business
¥ Own and demonstrate superior understanding of media fundamentals and quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
¥ Demonstrate sharp, strategic and critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
¥ Superior, clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills
¥ Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
¥ Sound understanding of digital marketing and technologies, both from a hands-on practical background, as well as strategic
¥ Experience with ad-serving platforms, Google tech stack, especially Adwords, Facebook, programmatic exchanges, and Excel will be highly regarded.
