Digital Branding Design DirectorA renowned strategic branding agency is pushing their agency offering to be more than traditional branding and more into total brand experience, focusing on how brands work in the digital world.
The Digital Design Director will work along side of their existing Design Directors and Executive Creative Director and Strategists, ensuring that Digital is at the forefront of the design process and not an afterthought and not only driving that consideration internally but through to their clients.
The ideal candidate would therefore come with experience in both branding and digital agencies or with experience developing and defining brands with a digital focus. Experience creating brand guidelines that go beyond just a PDF and cover interaction and customer experience as well.
You would need to be a natural leader as you will be tasked with mentoring designers and taking a ‘traditional’ branding agency into a new phase of business life and be able to sell your design rationale and approach to clients.
An understanding of interaction and UX across multiple platforms is required, as is a continual learning attitude, keeping up with the latest trends and technologies.
To be considered, you must have experience at Design Director or equivalent with a folio that demonstrates your application of branding within the Digital space, not just traditional branding studios or projects.
