Senior Brand and Retail Solutions Manager

Our client is a leading global real estate, infrastructure and specialist investment manager, with commercial property assets across Australia and offices around the world.

They are looking for a Senior Sales Manager for their Brand and Retail Solutions division to cultivate and grow the sponsorship and commercialisation opportunities across their growing portfolio of shopping centre properties through means of product and revenue stream development, advertising, bespoke brand/sponsorship campaigns, and centre specific monetisation ideas and sampling activations.

You will be accountable for specifically the enterprise-level retail tenants and brand direct portfolio performance at high-end shopping centres: budgeting, forecasting, and delivering on the revenue goals through proactive pitching, presenting, negotiating and formalising sponsorship, experiential and commercial opportunities that match the individual centre’s shopper and trade area. 

Responsibilities:
-Build upon existing business and conceptualise and create innovative and strategic bespoke sponsorship packages that benefit all parties and add value to the centres and properties (overall environment/atmosphere and customer experience, increase shopper engagement, theming, achieving an above average benchmark audit figure) ultimately driving more revenue
-Regularly liaise with all internal and external stakeholders (management and centre marketing teams, brand direct clients and their marketing/brand teams etc.) continually adding value, supplying & identifying relevant research, reporting work in progress, forecasting and revenue tracking
-Cultivate relationships and partnerships with relevant Sydney and Melbourne based tenant brand head offices, from brand manager up to C-levels
-Embrace and drive new projects and opportunities as they arise, creating solutions with multiple assets in each package (pop-up shops, kiosks, co-branding events, etc)
-Work with national and centre based Brand and Retail Solutions team members to ensure concepts and opportunities match centre strategies, always with strong communication following procedures, ensuring seamless campaigns
-Maintain strong client relationships to ensure that processing and following up on all client paperwork including Licence Agreements, PLI reports and invoices are received and payments are on time.
-Achieve budgets and forecasts with accuracy and manage the quarterly reporting deliverables.
-Maintain competitor information and keep up to date with retail industry trends.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years sales and business development experience preferably coming from a media or experiential agency or publisher integrated ad sales role with brand direct clients and retail vertical expertise
-Proven track record in pitching, creating innovative packages and presentations, deal formalising and negotiating with enterprise clients at all levels
-Highly conceptual and visionary, able to bring big ideas to life and super tenacious
-Account and contracts management experience including the ability to manage external and internal stakeholders 
-Strong business acumen and high level financial analysis skills to budget, forecast and report monthly/quarterly/yearly on sales performance 
-Drive and ability to hit and exceed revenue targets, not afraid to cold call and be proactive in seeking the next opportunity
-Excellent communication, persuasion and influencing skills
-Organised and able to multi-task, as well as flexibility to engage with people at all levels
-Ability to create and drive innovation and product sales that achieve shopper engagement 
-Collaborative problem solving including willingness to share and adopt ideas and insights across the assigned portfolio. 
-Strong relationship management and networking skills; a plus if bringing in any local direct networks or contacts in major corporates or high-end retail brands.
-The ability to think strategically to identify and explore new concepts, market opportunities and different approaches that will add value to portfolio performance. 
-Must hold a current driver’s license and have a motor vehicle
